My home studio

All musicians playing an instrument like electric guitar knows that some home studio is needed for jamming and recording tasks.

In my home studio there is not much space in the desktop, so I need more versatile devices available.

For example, the R16 Zoom installed is a recorder, interface and controller at the same time.
As a multitrack recorder the R16 Zoom can record 8 tracks simultaneously with 16-track playback. In mixer function has 8-in/2-out capability and is a great controller surface for all major DAW functions. Also the R16 Zoom is built-in high-sentivity stereo microphones to quickly record anything from songwriting ideas to ambient room audio, like vocals and acoustic instruments.
The R16 Zomm comes preprogrammed with 135 types of digital effects for recording, mixing, and mastering. The insert effect has seven modules with algorithms optimized for guitar, bass and vocals. In addition, two send/return effects are also available, so that you can use up to three effects simultaneously. The R16 Zoom also comes with models of 18 different guitar amps such as Fender, Marshall, Vox and Mesa Boogie, and 6 bass amps such as Ampeg, Bassman and Hartke. A compressor and equalizer effect that handles 8 channels simultaneously provides further flexibility.
DR-880 from BOSS is a rhythm-programming with world-class drum, percussion and bass sounds.
This fantastic rhythm machine has 400 drum/percussion instruments and fourty bass sounds, but also is a guitar preamp with amp simulation, multi-effects and independent level controls for the guitar rhythm and bass. With this device is very easy to compose backing tracks and rhythm loops for my jammings.
DR-880 is monitoring in my home studio by connecting stereo outputs to the R16 Zoom device, recording the stereo signal via DAW software.
JS-8 eBand from BOSS is a nice solution for training with dedicated guitar/bass/mic input, including effects derived from BOSS GT-10, tuner, metronome, phrase trainer and USB audio capture in Mp3. JS-8 eBand is also an excellent USB audio interface with their appropiated ASIO drivers to eliminate noise and latency when is connected to a DAW software.
JS-8 eBand include amps and cabinets simulations with the possibility to select some types of mics, simulating the distance between the mic and speaker. Really useful for a small home studio where not any space to place legendary great amplifiers.

Modern blues backing track

Hi folks, this is my first cover playing the Gibson SG Standard Heritage Cherry 6-string electric guitar, a classic since the 60’s with versatile tone, fast, easy playability and plenty of sustain:
The guitar amp and cabinet simulation was done with Boss JS-8 eBand audio interface. Recorded, mixed and mastered in Cubase LE 4. Video edited in Windows Movie Maker 6.1
